Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply Basic Life Support (BLS) principles relevant to dental settings
  • Demonstrate effective CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants
  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely
  • Recognise and respond to anaphylaxis, including adrenaline administration
  • Manage choking and airway obstruction
  • Apply oxygen therapy and basic airway management
  • Prepare and check emergency equipment for readiness
  • Work effectively as a team during dental emergencies
